What is Registration Number?

It is a specific number allotted by the Board to the 1st Year Regular & Private Students. The Regular Students are issued this number on behalf of the institution before the examination. When the admission is confirmed and forwarded by the institution who are academically eligible (i.e. passed SSC fresh in 2nd or higher division in Annual not fresh supplementary however old supply students are eligible. The registration number is like this: "20191101580001" 2019= Registration Year, 1=Session&Class, 4 or 5 Digit code=College Code and 0001 is student couter in the college.
The registration number is allotted to private students after the examination by providing the following documents. . SSC original certificate . 1st Year Roll No/Copy of DMC . 2nd Year DMC Copy |

The enrollment number is like this: "20199018020001" 2019= Enrollment Year, 9=Session&Class, 5 Digit code=School Code and 0001 is student couter in the current school. |

What is Migration?

Migration means transfer of a student or a candidate from one institution/Board to another institution/Board/University for seeking of quality/higher education.
School to School /College to College Migration:
This type of migration is allowed by the Board on the request of institute under the convincing reason with the consensus of both the Heads of the institutions using Online Portal System till 30th October of the academic year.
Board to Board Migration:
This type of migration is allowed by the Board to the candidate by fulfilling all the legal formalities specified by the Board in this regard i.e. Attestation of Migration Application from the last attended college, prescribed fee, copy of the last DMC.
Board to University:
This type of migration is allowed by the Board to the candidate for higher education by fulfilling all the legal formalities specified by the Board in this regard i.e. Attestation of Migration Application from the last attended college, prescribed fee, copy of last SSC DMC, original certificate and DMC of the intermediate.
Duplicate migration will be allowed only to that Board/University which was mentioned in last migration certificate after fulfilling all the legal formalities specified by the Board in this regard i.e. Attestation of Migration Application from the last attended college, prescribed fee, copy of the last DMC and and affidavit on stamp paper duly countersigned by the Oath Commissioner. |

How can I change/correct my name/father's name/Date of birth in Board's Record?

The Board has specified the following procedure for the correction of such particulars of the applicants.
Admission Withdrawal Register (A.W.R):
Due to Clerical mistake/transfer of record from one school to another or from School to Board. Such correction is made in the Board record by providing original Admission Withdrawal Register(s) complete in all respect for physical verification and an attested photo copy of the concerned page and a covering letter duly signed by the Head of the institution.
B.O.G/CBC Decision:
In order to facilitate the candidates, the Board has allowed minor change in the name, father's name. i.e. addition/deletion of Caste/Tribe in the name, father's name i.e. JAN, KHAN, etc. The legal formalities for the above changes are:
o Attestation of Correction Form from the School/Institution last attended. o Advertisement in 02 news papers o Prescribed Fee o Original and photo copy of the documents. o An Affidavit on stamp paper duly countersigned by the Oath Commissioner o Copy of CNIC.
Vowel Correction:
The Board allows correction of vowel mistake in which the sound of name/father's name remains the same. The legal formalities for the above changes are:
o Correction Form. o Prescribed Fee o Original and photo copy of the documents. o Copy of CNIC.
Court Decree:
The particulars that do not come in the specified rules as mentioned above will be changed by provision of Court Decree for fundamental changes in Name, Father's Name or Date of Birth after the completion of all legal formalities i.e.
o Correction Form. o Copy of the Attested Court Decree o Prescribed Fee o Original and photo copies of the documents. o Copy of CNIC |

How will you submit admission form for 9th / Part I Examinations as Private Candidate?

Every private fresh candidate (male / female) will receive an admission form from One Window Service BISE Peshawar or shall be downloaded from official website for appearing in 9th / Part I Annual Examination and fill up the form. Important steps are as under:-
1. Full name, father's name, home address (permanent /mailing), contact number, subjects. 2. 3 latest photos must be pasted on the admission form (duly attested). 3. The admission form shall be attested from the residential area Principal, Headmaster, Headmistress. 4. Fee will be deposited in the nearest ABL in the jurisdiction of BISE Peshawar & receipt will be attached with the admission form. 5. In case of Part-I, SSC DMC, Original Certificate photocopy, and Computerized NIC photocopy shall be attached with form. Similarly for admission in 9th class, school leaving certificate/date of birth certificate and computerized NIC photocopy shall be attached with admission form. (Note)- Details of subjects are given on the reverse of each admission form and their code numbers are available for selection. |

If a student wants migration in 10th class from BSE Karachi to BISE Peshawar. In such a situation 2 issues arise.

The candidates seeking migration from any BISE of Sindh Province, where Sindhi subject is compulsory in class 9th may be allowed to KPK Boards to offer Urdu (Compulsory) in 10th class. The Sindhi paper already qualified in 9th class may be considered equivalent to marks in Urdu paper in 10th Class. Hence marks in Sindhi in 9th class will be carried forward in 10th Class. |
Question | If a student wants migration from any BISE of Pakistan & AJK and he has failed in one subject, in such a situation, is he eligible to appear in one subject from BISE Peshawar? |

A candidate who moves from the jurisdiction of one Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education that holds SSC exam in two parts into the jurisdiction of the Board after having qualified in Part-I of the examination from the former Board may be granted exemption from appearing in the subjects/papers in which he/she has qualified in Part-I of the said exam and permitted to appear in the subject papers in which he/she has yet to qualify, provided he/she has passed part-I of the said exam not earlier than two academic years, such a candidate shall for all other purposes be governed by the rules and regulation of the Board. If a candidate wants migration from an other board to BISE Peshawar in capacity of a private students, following questions arises: Can he/she be allowed for examination on provision of domicile/C.N.I.C (computerized National Identity Card) or Service Certificate of parents or guardian? |
Reply/ Suggestion | Yes! If a candidate who wants to appear in examination from BISE Peshawar must be a resident of the area, under the jurisdiction of BISE Peshawar. Hence domicile/C.N.I.C or service certificate of his/her parents or guardian would be required to ensure his/her residence in the jurisdiction of BISE Peshawar as noted in the Calendar on page-92, para IV. |

If a regular student of 9th and 10th class wants to cancel his Roll Number or one, two or full subject/paper, on the recommendation of concerned Principal/Head Master. How many days, before the start of exam, he/she can apply for it?

Cancellation of Roll No:- (d) (ii) If a candidate is not short of the required percentage of the attendance at the time of submission of the admission forms but subsequently falls short of such percentage the Head of the institution shall report his/her name to the Controller of Examination, at least 10 days before the commencement of the examination for cancellation of candidature. His Roll No. Slip too, if issued, shall be returned to the Board. Cancellation of Subjects/Papers:- According to the Notification No.28/Acade Dated 21/2/2008 a candidate of 9th & 11th class can cancel his/her subjects/papers result within 10 days after the declaration of result. Furthermore the cancellation date can be extended by the Chairman on hardship basis. |
Question | Is General Science a compulsory subject or optional subject in 9th and 10th class? Can a student take Civics or History instead of General Science? Guide us in this matter. |

According to the SSC scheme of studies 2006-2007 General Science subject has been shifted to Social Science (Elective) subjects but it will be implemented subject to availability of Book by KP Text Book Board, probably in 2015 until then status quo will and status quo continue. In case of approval a candidate can offer three elective subjects, instead of two elective subjects from the seven sub-group. |

General Certificate of Education Ordinary (GCEO) level is equivalent to SSC Examination in Pakistan. Students of O-Level reading in Pakistani institutions will have to pass all the eight subjects and in institutions abroad will have to pass in Five subjects. |
Question | When a candidate is failed in all subjects, is he eligible for cancellation of result? Also need information about cancellation of “Absent” Candidate. |

Yes of course if a candidate is failed in all subjects, he can cancel his result because on cancellation he is entitled to take admission as regular student in 9th and 11th classes again. In case of failure in all subjects, he/she will have to clear those subjects and thereafter he will be eligible for admission in 10th and 12th classes being late school/college student. (Education Minister Conference decision) |
Question | If a candidate is allotted “ABC” or “XYZ” Roll Number, during emergency, there should be a stipulated time for clearance. The reason is that secrecy section has to dispose off the old scripts before the start of next examination. |
Reply/ Suggestion | If a candidate has already submitted admission form but unfortunately not found in the office and he/she has been allotted with Roll No. ABC or XYZ in the examination centre will be clarified through consultation with the candidate with in 25 days from the date of the said paper. The Superintendent of the Hall will be bound to submit report before the termination of examination. This will be the duty of ACE (Assistant Controller of examination Conduct) to seek the solution of the case. In case no proof was found on part of the candidate then penalty/late fee under the rules will be imposed on the candidate with the approval of the Chairman. |
Question | Stipulated time for “Urgent Duplicate DMC” and “Urgent Verification” |
Reply/ Suggestion | The time & fee has already been fixed for DMC and verification, however for urgent DMC, Urgent Certificates, urgent Migration Certificate and urgent verification etc will be disposed off on the same date, if the fee & documents were submitted before 10:00 am subject to the availability of all the concerned signatory authorities, the case will be disposed off within office timings. |

Gazette results are kept pending due to three reasons:
Result Late Cases: Results are being late for non availability of papers/award list or appearance in wrong center/offering wrong subjects, can be disposed off with the consultation of the students within 10 days. Unfair Means Cases: UFM cases are disposed off by the Discipline Committee prior to declaration of results. However some cases are left unsolved due to none availability of documents/scripts which can be solved/ disposed off within 10 days. Result Late (RL) DUES/Documents: Results are kept pending due to incomplete admission forms, due to dues or documents, which can be processed by SSC/Inter Section by pursuing the candidate for clearing their admission forms within two weeks. |
Question | Need information about Additional Subject. If a candidate fails in one paper of additional subjects, will he reappear in both papers or just in failed subject? Is there any rules/regulations for grace marks in additional subject? |
